Shady Canyon Golf Club, Irvine, CA had reopened its golf course from being closed for four months to reseed its fairways, that opening day a golfer struck a rock on his down swing and ignited a 25 acre fire. The stories was spun to a humor piece that reached around the world and eventually made Yahoo's Head Turning Moments of 2010.
